Iowa Road Race Championships:

Was a fast tough first 48 miles (24mph) on rolling terrain (we'd call 'em hills here) and then came to a 15 mph crawl for the finishing sprint mainly due to a strong head wind. The teams with numbers were not wanting to organize at the front and with Dave and I boxed in at the middle of the pack and could not advance. Great race and both were disappointed with the results. Tim had his front wheel clipped and broke a spoke and after changing wheel was able to rejoin the peloton. Nice win by Tony Muse who was riding strong at the front all day!
